Non-perishable Food Drive 

On Wednesday, Dec 3rd, the Sparta Cubs and Scouts will be going door to door in the Village of Sparta collecting non perishable food items to support the women and children at Second Stage Housing. The youth will be by between 6:45 and 7:45pm. Please feel free to leave your donation on your front step in a bag if you won't be home and still want to help. Food can also be dropped off at the Community Hall during this time.

Mobile Health Unit 

The Central Community Health Centre is bringing their Mobile Health Unit to Sparta on Mondays from 9 am to 3 pm, at the Community Centre. The team brings essential care directly to where people are, ensuring accessible, equitable, compassionate healthcare delivery. Services include primary care, chronic disease management, mental health support, and health education. Services will begin Monday October 20, 2025. See the site calendar for the full schedule.

Skatepark

Family Fun Day

Thank you to everyone who attended our Family Fun Day. We are grateful to our volunteers and donors for their generous support of our Community Centre. A special thank you goes out to the Union Fire Fighters and the Ultimutts team for making the day extra special. Visit our Family Fun Day page  for more memories of this wonderful day.
