Mobile Health Unit 

The Central Community Health Centre is bringing their Mobile Health Unit to Sparta on (most) Mondays from 9 am to 3 pm, at the Community Centre. The team brings essential care directly to where people are, ensuring accessible, equitable, compassionate healthcare delivery. Services include primary care, chronic disease management, mental health support, and health education. Services will begin Monday October 20, 2025. See the site calendar for the full schedule.

Museums - Fall Hours of Operation

Forge and Anvil Museum: Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 4:30 pm, Final Day for the season is October 11, 2026.

Church Museum:  Closed for the season -See you in the Spring!

The Colour of Song by Cornelia

We are excited to host this unique presentation and artwork show on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 2pm - 5 pm, at the  Church-Museum. 

Opening remarks will be made by Professor Beth MacDougall-Shackleton Centre for Animals on the Move and Department of Biology, Western University, and Catherine Shaw. Proceeds from the Sale of Art Work will be donated to the Centre for Animals on the Move.

Historical Re-enactment Feast

The year is 1875. The date is Saturday, November 14. Doors open at 6 pm. Tickets are $70.00 pp. Call Sally Martyn at 519-775-2292 or email villageofsparta.ontario@gmail.com  No tickets will be sold at the door.

High Tea and Fashion Show

Our annual High Tea and Fashion Show was held on June 6, 2026 and was a great success. Thank you to all volunteers and guests - we are grateful for your participation. We hope to see everyone again in 2027!
